As the Director of Advancement, Karen oversees all things “alumni.” She also works with Special Events for community and constituent outreach events and assists in fundraising and scholarships. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and has been with UMKC for almost two decades.
In her spare time, Karen likes to socialize with friends and family, read and make crafts. She is inspired by people who treat others with respect and who will do anything to make a project or event successful.
