Education

Dr. Bennett received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at the University of Nevada in 2002 and completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University in 2002-2004.

Teaching

Dr. Bennett teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Social Psychology.

Research

Dr. Bennett’s research interests involve the impact of social cognition on health. In particular, she is interested in how causal attributions affect recovery following chronic disease diagnosis, like cancer or heart disease.
