Marvalee Collins is an assistant teaching professor in the Division of Counseling and Educational Psychology. She serves as Coordinator of School Counseling and Practicum and Internship. Marvalee’s areas of professional focus include academic and social-emotional learning, mental health in schools, school safety, trauma-informed care and data driven school counseling programs.
Marvalee has served as a school counselor at both the elementary and secondary levels. In addition, she has taught at the university level since 2008. Marvalee has also served on the boards of state professional organizations devoted to providing support to school counselors across the region and promoting the counseling profession.
