Selia graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God in Texas with her bachelor’s in counseling with a minor in marriage and family therapy and from Grand Canyon University in Arizona with her masters in sociology with an emphasis in education. Before working for UMKC, she worked in PK-12 public schools in the Kansas City, Kansas area. Selia is currently the Office Assistant for the Educational Leadership Policy Foundations (ELPF) where she supports ELPF students and ELPF faculty. When Selia is not working, she is spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
