Biography

As a graduate of the MA Counseling program in 2018, I was thrilled to be an adjunct and practicum supervisor. Starting my career as a full-time faculty member is a dream come true for me. I have been in counseling since graduation and rose to the rank of Clinical Manager at a local non profit. My specialties and interest areas are domestic violence, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, pre/postnatal, women's issues, chronic illness, and identity reformation.

I hold an LPC-S in Missouri, an LCPC in Kansas, and am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) as well. I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have a passion for trauma work. I've been in the clinical field since leaving the program as a graduate and have presented locally, regionally, and nationally. I'm currently working on my PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision.
