This program provides advanced training to experienced educators in K-12 schools. Students develop deep knowledge of curriculum, instructional capacity, instructional technology, research, culture and diversity and critical thinking.
The culminating experience for this program is the completion of an extended action research project and related major research report.
Graduates from this program are expert teachers capable of leading classroom-based research and many serve as instructional coaches. Graduates may also be eligible to teach preservice and inservice courses at colleges and universities.
