This developmentally-sequenced program is designed to help students gain foundational knowledge, understand their discipline and classroom practices, plan instruction and assessment, and demonstrate effective teaching. It is rooted in a deep commitment to equity, social justice, and PK-12 public education.

Program features
- Cohort-based program designed for those already holding a bachelor’s degree and interested in becoming certified as a teacher
- Fulfills all the requirements for Missouri teacher certification for Middle School (grades 5-9), High School (grades 9-12), or K-12 Education, Art, French, Spanish, German
- All students complete 41 credit hours common across certification areas
- Some students also complete additional 3-6 credit hours, depending on intended area of certification, specific to their grade level and content
Certification Areas
- High school teacher (Grades 9-12): English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics), or Social Science
- Middle school teacher (Grades 5-9): Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, or Social Science
- Foreign Language and Art Certifications (Grades K-12): Art, French, German, or Spanish
